AuthorsBookshop.com hosted its first open chat session in the members chat area tonight. The subject, which was moderately adhered to, was “Using the built-in tools and features of AuthorsBookshop.com,” and I also left the floor open for general comments, questions and discussions about the site in general.

I was a little curious to see how it would turn out… would anyone show up, and would we have enough to talk about. We had 6 members in the room at the peak, and the session lasted for an hour and a half. We had a really great discussion, acutally… it went better then I thought it would. I really enjoyed it.

I am looking at repeating it next month, with a different topic and perhaps a guest moderator that has some expertise in the topic. I havent set a date yet, but will by the time this weeks email goes out.
