Sorry this one is late getting up. I had a problem with the mp3 file, and was unable to get it straightened out till tonight, when I could get Eric Willison, the shows executive producer and sound engineer, to fix it for me. We got it straightened out though, and are good to go!

This week I had a really great conversation with William P. Tandy about the indie writing scene in Baltimore, his zine “Smile Hon, Your In Baltimore,” and many of his thoughts on publishing and editing. I think my favorite part is where we talk about how the zine movement was something of a prototype for the current indie publishing boom.

Our book or the week was The Oyster Wars, a great historical fiction novel that takes place in and around the Baltimore area following the civil war.
