BestsellerBound is a new forum created specifically for indie authors to share their books with other authors. Hang out with writers in your genera, and talk about your book, how you write/publish/market it – getting and giving tips that will likely help yourself and other in the indie pub journey.

If the site takes off, it looks like it may be a good way for authors to reach out to find new readers, too.

From their press release:

Here, readers will get a behind the scenes glimpse into what it’s like to be a small press or independently published author. Resident and visiting authors will chat with readers about writing a book, how they do research and get their ideas, how they market their books, and the challenges they face. They’ll share articles, stories and poems, as well as special offers and discounts.

It looks like BestsellerBound is brought to us by QuietFury Books, an indie publisher that appears to publish the books of owner Darcia Helle.

  1. Darcia Helle Says:

Thanks for posting this! We welcome both indie authors and readers. So far we’ve got a great assortment of members and it’s been fun getting to know everyone. Of course, the problem is that my to-read list continues to grow beyond control!
